You'd never believe that this beautiful day held some powerful storms here in NE.

Despite it all, Sam and Tyler had the most beautiful wedding day. You know what they say about rain on your wedding day - well I'm believing that the storms mean tenfold blessings in their marriage!

The day began at Blue Door Salon in Omaha - truly such a beautiful space to get ready!

The day continued on as we headed to the beautiful Pella in Blackstone. What was once a church is now a gorgeous wedding venue here in Omaha, NE. Sam shared her first look with her dad and we grabbed some photos of Tyler and his best man.

Finally, finally it was time for the first look between Sam and Tyler! I love first looks on wedding days because it gives the couple a chance to breathe together and actually spend TIME together on their wedding day! It's all too easy for the day to fly by, but the first look builds in guaranteed time, and I promise, it doesn't take away from the moment you see each other while walking down the aisle. If anything, it gets some of those nerves out of the way and ACTUALLY take in the realization of WOW, I'm about to marry my person.

Next we headed into the ceremony - a slight rain delay but it didn't change the magic at all. The bride and groom opted for cocktail hour before the ceremony, and the groom was able to mingle with guests while the bride hid away with her bridesmaids!

The ceremony was so sweet, and reflected their hearts and love for one another.

Post ceremony, the bride and groom opted to mingle with their guests rather than have a second photo session, which made a ton of sense considering the on and off rain! Plus, it was what they wanted, and that's all that mattered.

The reception was so perfect - some of my FAVORITE moments of wedding days happen at the reception, such as the cake cutting, the speeches (you're bound to get some tears and so many laughs as we celebrate the reason we're all there - THE COUPLE!), and the dance floor!

Overall, even though the storms were heavy, the day was so unbelievably perfect. It's almost as though God was placing a little dome around the venue to ensure that the day could not be ruined! I am so thankful and blessed to have been able to capture it.
